He congratulated the team of TEDxMICA comprising of Noor Salam Khan, Prerak Valdiya, Ravi Kumar, Vamsi Krishna Kaki and Nitin Mohan Shandilya, the student community and the faculty at MICA. Prof. Ranchhod talked about the global financial system through banking innovations, rapid industrialisation, innovations in biology across the world and the power of ideas. He gave the reference of Lewis Pugh to illucidate the fact that one person’s idea can prove to be a boon and respite for the billions. The world is constantly changing and ideas like those generated during TED talks have a great impact on the way a large number of the intellectual and elite look at these changes.

Noor Salam Khan, the curator of TEDxMICA spoke about the history and relevance of TED throughout the world. He also presented the introduction from Chris Anderson, curator of the set of TED conferences across the world.
